Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Plaincalcs is operated by the team behind RealValueData.com. For any privacy-related questions, write to hello@plaincalcs.com.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any contact details.
• Account credentials, because there are no accounts.
• The numbers you type into our calculators. All calculations run entirely in your browser. Inputs and results are never sent to our servers.
• Advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar trackers.

3. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited. It is:

• Cookie-free: no identifiers stored in your browser.
• Aggregate only: we see counts of pageviews by country and referrer, not individual visitors.
• No personal identifiers: no IP address fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking, no advertising IDs.

Because Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies and does not build a user profile, we do not show a cookie banner. If your jurisdiction treats the processing differently, contact us and we will address it. Learn more at Cloudflare Web Analytics (opens in a new tab).

4. Local storage

If you switch between light and dark mode, your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage. This value lives on your device only and is never transmitted to us.

5. Server logs

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived operational logs (which may include IP addresses) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We do not export, combine, or retain these logs ourselves. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating and securing the site.

6. Third parties

We rely on a small number of third parties to deliver the site:

• Cloudflare: hosting, CDN, DNS, and privacy- preserving aggregate analytics.

We do not share data with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing services. We do not sell any data, because we have none to sell.

7. Your rights

Because we do not hold any personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, export, or erase on your behalf. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how the site handles data (for example, if we introduce advertising or a newsletter), we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after such changes means you accept the revised policy.
